Built From Real Automotive Operations

We didn't set out to build software for the automotive industry. We built it because one of the UK's largest automotive service businesses needed a better way to run complex service operations at scale.

Today, Avayler helps enterprise automotive organizations connect workshops, technicians, customer communications and operational workflows through one platform.

From Halfords To Avayler

Avayler's story starts with Halfords.

As the business expanded its automotive services, the operational challenges became increasingly complex. Workshops, technicians, inventory, customer communication and reporting all needed to work together, but disconnected systems made that difficult.

So we built a platform around the way automotive service operations actually work.

It evolved alongside technicians completing repairs, front-of-house teams supporting customers and operational leaders managing service networks every day.

Over time, that internal platform became the foundation for what is now Avayler, enterprise software designed to support large automotive service networks around the world.

Built By Listening To The People Using It Every Day

The best operational software is shaped by the people using it. Working within one of the UK's largest automotive service operations showed us that every team needs something different from the technology they use.

One Platform. Years Of Operational Experience.

Every improvement made to the platform was driven by real operational experience.

The challenges may have evolved, but the approach hasn't.

We continue to develop Avayler around the realities of automotive service operations, helping organizations replace disconnected systems with connected operational workflows.

Trusted By Enterprise Automotive Service Networks

Avayler has grown from an internal operational platform into enterprise software used by leading automotive service organizations.

Originally developed inside Halfords, the platform is now trusted by organizations including Bridgestone and MyCar to support connected workshop operations, customer communications and operational visibility across large service networks.

As we continue to develop the platform, the principle remains the same: build technology around the way automotive service organizations actually operate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why was Avayler created?

Avayler was created to solve real operational challenges within Halfords' automotive service business. As service operations grew in scale and complexity, the platform evolved to help connect workshops, technicians, customer communications and operational workflows through one enterprise solution.

What makes Avayler different from other automotive software providers?

Unlike platforms developed purely as commercial software products, Avayler was shaped by real-world operational experience. Its development has been influenced by the day-to-day needs of technicians, service advisors and operational leaders managing large automotive service networks.

Who is Avayler designed for?

Avayler is built for enterprise automotive organizations operating multiple workshops, service centers or mobile service networks. The platform is designed to help large organizations improve operational visibility, standardize processes and connect service delivery across every location.

Is Avayler suitable for organizations with existing systems?

Yes. Enterprise organizations often operate a wider technology ecosystem that includes finance platforms, supplier systems, payment providers and technical data solutions. Avayler is designed to support connected operational workflows while integrating with existing business systems where appropriate.

Why does operational heritage matter when choosing enterprise software?

Enterprise software becomes part of your organization for years, so it's important to choose a platform that understands the realities of large-scale automotive operations. Avayler's heritage gives organizations confidence that the platform has been shaped by practical operational experience and continues to evolve around the needs of enterprise automotive service networks.

How can reporting help identify operational bottlenecks?

Operational reporting can highlight recurring delays, workflow interruptions and trends that aren't always visible during day-to-day operations.

This might include jobs waiting for approval, recurring inventory issues, technician capacity or variations in performance between locations, helping organizations prioritise operational improvements.

Does reporting replace existing business intelligence tools?
Not necessarily. Many enterprise organizations already use reporting or business intelligence platforms alongside their operational systems. Connected operational reporting can complement these tools by bringing together information from across the service workflow, making operational data easier to understand and act upon.
How does reporting support enterprise decision-making?

Enterprise organizations need more than individual workshop reports. They need visibility across the entire operation.

Connected reporting helps leadership teams understand operational performance across locations, identify emerging trends, monitor consistency and make informed decisions that support long-term service improvement.
